Custom Status PRO (“the App”) is developed and operated by Innerforce Sports LLC, the company behind The Sheep Lab – a growing family of Shopify tools designed for modern, made-to-order merchants. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App through Shopify.

By installing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.

 

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use the App, we access limited data from your Shopify store to deliver our features.

We may collect:

  • Your Shopify store name and domain

  • Store owner contact info (email, name)

  • Order data (including customer name, email, phone, status, line items)

  • Customer notification preferences (for email/SMS)

  • App usage events (for diagnostics and feature improvement)

Where applicable, we store raw order data in JSON format and extract key values needed for status updates, notifications, and automation. We do not collect payment information or sensitive customer data not related to order tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to:

  • Provide core app features (order statuses, automation, notifications)

  • Power your branded tracking page

  • Send customer notifications based on status changes

  • Offer support and improve our services

  • Analyze trends and app usage for product improvements

We never sell or rent your store’s data, and we only access it to support your intended use of the App.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted services to help us run the App:

  • Shopify – to access your store data via API and webhooks

  • Google Firebase – for secure backend storage, authentication, and hosting

  • Twilio – to send SMS messages (if enabled)

  • Klaviyo – if you enable email marketing integrations

These services are bound by their own privacy terms and are compliant with relevant data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only as long as necessary to deliver services and comply with applicable regulations. If you uninstall the App, your store data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days.

Our website or app dashboard may use cookies to:

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
